I started Top Pocket Decks on November 2, 2024 as a personal project. I just wanted a way to analyse the meta for myself. Then I put it online, and I've kept it updated ever since. Almost two years now!
It's been a blast. Pokemon TCG Pocket is a genuinely great game, and ranked was always my favourite part of it, grinding for good decks and working out what actually wins. Building this site let me do that and share it with everyone else.
Life has gotten busy though. I got engaged and I'm in the middle of planning a wedding, and my main job is keeping me full. I just don't have the time for Pokemon Pocket or for maintaining Top Pocket Decks at the moment. So rather than leave it sitting here going stale with everyone wondering what happened, I wanted to wind it down properly and say thank you.
And thank you, genuinely. I'm so glad this turned out to be useful to so many people, and it always made my day seeing people log in every week to check the meta. A special thanks to everyone who went Premium. I never thought a fun personal project like this would get subscriptions. It never amounted to much beyond covering the running costs, but the fact that people cared enough about it to pay for it meant a lot.

I'd be happy to work with a competent party to hand everything over so they can keep it alive. That includes the Pokemon TCG Pocket card API we maintain, which is still the only open source, public card API available.

The site stays online, but it's no longer being updated. New Premium signups are closed, and ads have been switched off for everyone.
Existing subscriptions keep renewing until you cancel them, so if you don't want to be billed again, cancel through the billing portal.
If you'd like a refund instead, email me at [email protected] and include the email address on your account. I'll cancel your subscription and refund your most recent payment. Stripe only lets me refund payments made in the last 180 days, so if yours is older than that I'll do whatever I can.

Missing Cards
Click on any cards that you are missing, and the tier list will update automatically for what you have
Matchups
See matchup data for which decks are strong against others, and their winrates
Find Your Best Deck
Discover the strongest deck you can build with your collection. The Best Deck Finder starts by showing you the top deck in the game, but you can click any cards you don't have. It will then show you the next best deck that doesn't use those cards.
Keep removing cards until you find a deck where you have everything. The relative strength indicator shows you how powerful your deck is compared to the best deck in the game.
